The Arise Experience

We desire for women to tap into the deeper layers of their life that have remained hidden for years. Although successful in business Unworthiness, Emotional Pain, and Failed Relationships are areas the women we work with often struggle in. There is a level of holistic healing we are determined for women to envision and experience for themselves. We promote healing through honest sharing, healthy accountability, and providing a safe space in hopes that women will discover their true voice often buried after abuse. Healing is a combination of receiving and pursuing and therefore we choose actively to deal with the residue of abuse instead of hiding it behind our success.

Meet Zaneen

Relationship Restoration Life Coach

Zaneen Thompson is the founder and creator of Arise Tamar®. She is a Relationship Restoration Life Coach that help women restore the most important relationship pivotal to success in their life which is the one with themselves. She believes this healing is critical as it is the driving force to success of every other relationship they are connected to. She guides women through their healing journey using her own Personal Testimony of Healing, Education, and the Word of God so women can walked authentically in who they were fully created to be.

Backstory

Arise Tamar derives from the account in 2 Samuel 13 in the bible about King David's daughter Tamar who was sexually violated by her half brother Amnon. She was a virgin and due to cultural norms during this time, she was now considered ineligible to marry and bare children which was how a woman's value and worth was determined. The last we hear about Tamar is that she lived Desolate for the remainder of her days in her brother Absalom's home.

Although we do not live under the cultural context of these laws any longer, many women today remain bound emotionally and mentally. Many women achieve outward success, but remain inwardly hidden. At Arise Tamar, we strive to see women Arise from these Desolate places to walk in complete healing and freedom.

Who We Serve

We work with professional and successful women who have obtained educational degrees, started businesses, and climbed the corporate ladder, but have not maintained the same level of success in friendly, romantic, or familial relationships.

The undercurrent to this collapse for the women we serve is an unresolved internal conflict due to childhood sexual violation thus creating self-sabotaging patterns or a lack of skills to navigate relationships.

Our clients want to escape the unhealthy cycles and patterns they've created and foster a healthy relationship first with themselves and then with others.

Areas of Focus

We have a framework where we assist women specifically in the areas of Emotional Intelligence, Conflict Resolution, and Effective Communication. The deficit they experience in these areas are largely due to these skills not fully developing beyond the onset of the abuse.

Emotional Intelligence

Learn how to manage, understand, and become self-aware of your emotions. Being in-tuned with your emotions allows empathy for others and regulates your decision making process.

Conflict Resolution

Learn the skills to adequately settle disputes by addressing each others interests, gain new information, and come to a peaceful resolve internally.

Effective Communication

Learn how to communicate your message and feelings clearly, hear others accurately, and the importance of ‘I” Statements.
